Krystle Green is an Infection Control Nurse at the University of Kansas Health System. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Krystle has worked in the field of nursing for the past 11 years, caring for various patient populations, including post-operative urology, surgical oncology, gynecology, and neurosurgery patients. She has also worked as a nurse educator, helping to educate new nurses to care for these patients. Krystle joined the Infection Prevention and Control Team at the University of Kansas Health System in 2019. Krystle’s areas of focus within infection prevention and control include COVID-19 pandemic response, surgical site infection prevention and case review, hand hygiene, standard and transmission-based precautions, construction and renovation, and device-associated infection prevention.
