Dr. Flach joined Mile Two LLC as a Senior Cognitive Systems Engineer in June of 2017. At Mile Two, he works with a talented team of user experience (UX) designers and programmers to design and build software solutions to help businesses and other enterprises to manage complex work. Prior to joining Mile Two, Dr. Flach was involved in graduate and undergraduate education in applied cognitive psychology. From 1984 – 1990, he was an Assistant Professor at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he had joint appointments in Mechanical & Industrial Engineering (50%), Psychology (25%), and the Institute of Aviation (25%). In 1990, he moved to Wright State University where he retired in 2017 as a Full Professor. From 2004 to 2012 Dr Flach was chair of the Psychology Department at WSU.
