Hamid Norasi, PhD is an assistant professor at Robert D. and Patricia E. Kern Center for the Science of Health Care Delivery at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota. He received his Ph.D. from the department of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering at Iowa State University in the field of ergonomics and human factors. His research interests include cervical spine biomechanics, musculoskeletal disorders among surgeons, and muscle fatigue in prolonged static postures.
