Tianqi Gao Smith, PhD is an Assistant Professor of Health Care Systems Engineering at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, and a Senior Health Services Analyst at Mayo Clinic’s Robert D. and Patricia E. Kern Center for the Science of Health Care Delivery. Her research interests lie in occupational safety and ergonomics, occupational injury prevention, and human-machine interaction. Prior to joining Mayo Clinic, she was Assistant Professor of Systems Science and Industrial Engineering at the State University of New York at Binghamton. Tianqi received her PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Auburn University.
