Jordan Harvey is an Infection Prevention and Control Nurse at the University of Kansas Health System. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology at the University of Kansas and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from MidAmerica Nazarene University. She is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health with a concentration in epidemiology at the University of Kansas. Jordan joined the Infection Prevention and Control Team at the University of Kansas Health System in 2019. Jordan’s area of focus within infection control includes COVID-19 pandemic response, hand hygiene, standard and transmission-based precautions, C. difficile, environmental cleaning and disinfection, and emerging infectious diseases. She is an active participant in the Kansas City chapter of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology.
