DescriptionThis presentation will describe the work domain analysis (WDA) processes behind the development of an Ecological Interface Design (EID) for assessing cardiovascular health. In doing this, the presentation will address concerns about whether WDA and EID can be applied to analysis and design of non-engineered systems. Several iterations of an interface for assessing cardiovascular health will be presented and the logic of the mapping of the interface elements to the dynamics of cardiovascular health and to the dynamics of decision making in joint cognitive systems will be explained.
